The Music Is Not Background. It Is the Vehicle.
For Jacob Moth, music is not entertainment in the conventional sense. It is a technology of consciousness, a ceremonial vehicle and a living language for the Adventure of Self-Discovery.
Through Axis Mundi Experience, Jacob and Ecaterina Moth create long-form ceremonial music for Full Moon Concerts, inner journeys, meditation, integration and global meditation fields.
02 · A Living Sound Technology for Inner Journeys
Sound as bridge between body, psyche, myth and The Universe.
Music has been one of Jacob’s primary paths of healing, transformation and exploration since childhood.
As composer, guitarist, singer, producer, orchestrator and ceremonial musician, Jacob has spent decades exploring how sound can open, hold and guide inner experience.
In The Magic Garden, music can activate, soften, focus, expand, dissolve, ground and integrate.

Both a band and a living sound technology.
Axis Mundi Experience is the ceremonial music project at the heart of The Magic Garden. Each performance is unique, created in resonance with the people present and the larger morphogenetic field of the gathering.
The ceremonial engine at the center of the music.
The name is inspired by Stanislav Grof’s word “holotropic”—moving toward wholeness—and by the mythic image of a spacecraft’s warp drive: the engine that carries the journey beyond ordinary space and time.
At the same time, it points back to one of humanity’s oldest spiritual technologies: sound itself—drums, voice, rhythm, resonance and vibration as vehicles for trance, healing and inner travel.
In practical terms, the Holotropic Sound Drive is Jacob’s live music system: Butterfly Guitars, Shaman Drum Kit, loop station, synths, voices and ceremonial sound design woven into one navigational instrument.

The cockpit of the sound vessel.
From The Captain’s Seat in The Roundhall, Jacob guides the music as a real-time journey. This is where music, technology, intuition and ceremonial responsibility meet.
Instruments, artworks and symbolic technologies.
Jacob’s custom-made Butterfly Guitars are central to the sound and symbolism of Axis Mundi Experience. Their butterfly form echoes the TMG logo, the Medicine Wheel, metamorphosis, the soul, the axis between worlds and the transformational process itself.
White Beauty carries a luminous, visionary current. Black Beauty brings a darker, more electric and initiatory tone. Together, they form part of the visual and sonic iconography of the work.
White Beauty
The luminous Butterfly Guitar—often associated with celestial, visionary and expansive states of consciousness.
Read about White Beauty
White Beauty is shaped like The Magic Garden’s butterfly symbol: a unique 19-string electric butterfly guitar, shamanic wand and symbolic technology. Alongside the electric guitar, he contains a built-in electric violin bow for sustained tones, a guitar synthesizer pickup, an acoustic piezo pickup and a 13-string chromatic harp.
His integrated light show includes 40 LEDs programmed in different patterns, contributing to the morphogenetic field and the navigation of the Axis Mundi Spacecraft. At the head of the guitar, the butterfly’s two eyes become antennae with glowing eyes—symbolising having antennas out in The Universe.
White Beauty embodies masculine force, spirit and Yang energy. The 19 strings point to XIX. The Sun, X. The Wheel of Fortune and I. The Magician. The 40 LEDs echo the sacred number 40: gestation, Moses on Mount Sinai and the Israelites’ journey through the desert.
Black Beauty
A darker, more electric Butterfly Guitar with an underworld, initiatory and transformative presence.
Read about Black Beauty
Black Beauty is a 22-string butterfly guitar: a state-of-the-art technological shaman and healer’s wand. Symbolising feminine force and Yin energy, she takes the butterfly form into a darker, more curved and organic expression, with a Cocobolo top, black limba body, maple neck, ebony fretboard and gold-leaf symbols.
Her Moog pickup system allows sustain across all six strings simultaneously, with harmonic control and classic Moog filtering. A piezo system offers acoustic and guitar-synth outputs, while the back wings form a 16-string harp spanning four octaves. The 22 strings mirror the 22 Major Arcana Tarot cards and Jacob’s life Tarot number.
At the heart of Black Beauty is the Lightbringer computer: 12 RGB LEDs sending light through 777 optical fibres. Its first 22 programs correspond to the Major Arcana, with additional programs for distinct dimensions, vibrations, solar systems, galaxies and parallel universes. The result is a finely tuned light-and-sound navigation system for the Ocean of Consciousness.
The Guitar as Symbol
Not only instruments, but symbolic technologies: butterfly, Medicine Wheel, spacecraft and bridge between worlds.

Guiding, transformative light language vocals.
Ecaterina Moth’s voice is one of the essential forces in the music of The Magic Garden. Her guiding, transformative light language vocals move beyond ordinary language into a space of sound, feeling, care, release and subtle guidance.

Long-form journeys created in sacred time.
The Full Moon Concerts are one of the central expressions of Music as Medicine in The Magic Garden.
Each concert is created in relation to the astrological Full Moon axis and the collective field of the moment.
They form a living archive of music created in sacred time.
A shared field of resonance, guidance and transformation.
A key part of Jacob’s current vision is to extend Music as Medicine into global meditation fields through livestreams, Full Moon Concerts, co-created ceremonies, interviews and online gatherings.
